The contradiction between Fashion and Style is obviously not
much clear to everyone. These two terms are often assorted with one another. But,
there is a fine difference between the two. Fashion is what new and innovative
stuff is coming up in the season, whereas on the other hand style varies from
person to person. More clearly style of an individual is depicted from their
way of wearing, talking and carrying themselves.
Check out the variance between fashion and style:
(1) The initial difference is that
Fashion is what we say ‘What’s out there’ which means what is prevailing in the
market. But on the other hand ‘What I am wearing’ is a statement reflecting
your style. There is a huge difference between these two variants.
(2) Style is something which will
describe your personality, of what you really are. Fashion is just a trend
which will come and go, but style is consistent.
(3) Fashion is not something which is
formulated by you. Fashion works on the thoughts of the fashion designers, what
ideas they have and how they accumulate them in the world to discover a new
trend. On the other hand you can easily form your own style statement,
no-matter it is going on with the trends or not. You can say that style is self
controlled. You can change your style according to your wish but cannot change
the trend.
(4) Fashion has its own combinations and
prefixed barriers, but to look stylish you don’t have to follow these prefixed
trends. It is just mixing and matching of the pieces you wear which you feel
will depict your style story.
Fashion and Style are basically two sides of a same coin. Both
these things move hand in hand. You don’t have to follow fashion to look
stylish. There is a slight difference but it is essential to know the variance.
